In the 2000s, 9/11 devestated a nation, the U.S. invated Iraq, No Child Left Behind tried to reform American Education, and the Tea Party rose to prominence. In 2006, the Junior State of America declared the Southeast its newest state—the first since 1999. In 2007, a generous grant facilitated the creation of JSA Arizona.
This fundraising team consists of students who graduated from JSA in the 2000s and continue to believe in the power of the Junior State of America. We’re celebrating JSA’s 80th anniversary by asking our friends, families, and fellow JSA’ers to invest in an organization that continues to make a huge impact on the lives of students across the U.S.
Please contribute to our shared goal by finding a 2000s compatriot (from the member list on your right) to contribute to, by clicking "DONATE NOW" above and contributing to our shared decade goal, or even by clicking "JOIN TEAM" on our team photo to start your own fundraising page and share your love of JSA with others.
We want to ensure that every student who wants to participate in JSA can, regardless of family income. Your contribution makes that happen.
$100—or $9 a month—helps one future leader attend a convention; $300—or $25 a month—helps them attend for an entire year. $500 a month ensures one more student can attend our life-changing summer school.
