Welcome to the home of JSA's Midwest State Scholarship Fund!

This student-run team has taken on the task of raising funds for use by the JSA Midwest State Scholarship Committee. Funds raised in this state scholarship pool will be distributed to young statesmen and women in the Midwest who would not otherwise be able to attend JSA conventions due to economic constraints.

Every student, no matter the economic realities they face, deserves the chance to voice their opinions and participate in our democracy. In the words of one JSA'er, "JSA has taught me to be a good citizen, strong public speaker and a true friend. Without the support of this program and the people in it, I would not be the person I am today."

Your fast, secure and tax-deductible donation to the Junior State brings the power of the Junior State to more Midwestern students. Thank you.

What is JSA?

The Junior State of America (JSA) is the nation's largest student-run organization. Its mission is to engage high school students in political discourse and in leadership training, resulting in a stronger American democracy for us all. At high school chapter meetings, statewide conventions, and academically rigorous summer schools, JSA'ers engage in political discourse, cultivate leadership skills, challenge one another to think critically and develop respect for opposing viewpoints in order to rise above self-interest and promote the public good.

Since 1934, JSA has touched the lives of more than 500,000 students. Today, it maintains active chapters in 35 US states and engages more than 11,000 students every single year.
